We chose this restaurant to celebrate a milestone birthday, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. A large number of menu items were unavailable, even though the restaurant was far from busy—it was a Friday around 8:00 PM with only a couple of other occupied tables. Since the staff knew we were celebrating a birthday, it would have been courteous to call ahead and let us know about the limited menu so we could have decided whether to keep our reservation. This was hands down one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. I have visited this restaurant multiple times before, but after this visit, I have absolutely no intention of returning. The concept of farm to table was very exciting but everything else was very poorly executed. Half the items were unavailable or out of season. Even the items that are available are not served exactly as the description given in the menu . Most of items felt like FALSE ADVERTISING , we kept checking the menu to figure out if we received what we ordered. We finally made our way to Mishta, and I’m sorry it took so long! The farm to table motif for an Indian restaurant was new to us so we were eager to try. The Country Chicken Masala was unique in flavor and the quality of the meat was evident with every bite! With so many Indian restaurants openly in the area, I give my full throated endorsement to Mishta!! BYOB as well. Owner was super nice and we’ll be back to try some seafood offerings expected in the summer!
