Less than one star.
First time in emergency, checked in for ear infection and excruciating pain at 2am, only 4 of us in the waiting room. Waited until 9am, no one called me, then I went to the local clinic, to see my family doctor. The worst hospital, worst emergency. 7 hours of waiting for nothing. What are we paying taxes for? Why do we need these hospitals? They are draining our taxes for nothing.
This is in no way a reflection of the staffs abilities to care for patients. They are clearly burned out and doing their best with limited resources from an incompetent government. Don’t go to this ER. Sent by 811 nurse and was told I needed to go to emergency, not a family doctor. Waited for hours with no one even retaking my 12 month olds vitals or checking in. I decided I would just leave but then reception said I needed to check with the triage nurse before leaving, who made me feel a little guilty for not waiting anymor... read more
