Dr. Colon-Martinez attempted to repair my grandmothers fractured humerus.... she came to the bedside after her surgery and admitted openly to me that she "put the wrong sized plate in my grandmothers arm because she didn't have the right size." After a second opinion with another ortho doc, my grandmother has a long recovery ahead of her. She will be needing another surgery due to a new fracture above the plate she placed. First, I want to recognize this Practice at OSA. Between my wife and I we have seen multiple Surgeons at this Orthopaedic Surgery Associates and each have been exceptional. But this review is specifically about Dr. Mirylsa Colon-Martinez. Lleve a mi niña por una fractura y la Dra. vio su radiografía nos dijo que ella no tenía fractura cuando en el hospital habían dicho que tenía fractura en su pie derecho. Dr. Colon was the second of what is now several podiatrist/orthopedic foot doctors. I went in with what I knew as much was a small fracture in my toe. Looking for another opinion I visited this doctor who pretty much without hesitation went right to opening it up and cutting out a small chip. She claimed that I would be up and walking same day.
