We have owned here for 3 yrs, my husband and I bought as investment . Little did we know the Association hates investors. So they thought they where help the Community by make Stricter bylaws, but all they did was hurt the Community with the bylaws. 1) everyone over 18 has to have a 700 CS , and everyone who is renting has to have a 700 CS and all have to pay $125 for a background check , Credit score. 2) you can have a family, friend ,boyfriend or girlfriend stay over for more then 2 weeks in a year. I moved here last December. Nice pool and small (but adequate) gym.
If you and every person in your family over the age of 18 have a min. of a 700 credit score, and you enjoy living in a construction zone, this is the place for you. Project started over 2 years ago to redo the stairs, and screens on the Lania's. To date, not one building is completed in full. The HOA board runs it how it wants, not in the best interest of the residents.
I have owned for 4 years and the HOA President harasses people. Renters are treated terribly. I almost fell through rotten wood on my lanai. I reached out to the Property Management Co and they ignored my requests to fix it as it's a safety issue. I eventually got a temporary rail put up. Code Enforcement had to be notified. The Pres has been quoted as saying racist remarks although it is denied. The Pres doesn't want renters so investors end up selling at a loss. Living here is a sham! The HOA fees are out of control and for what? The management is terrible and the property is overpriced, raising fees out of the blue 😡they are tyrants when it comes to credit scores and frankly this place isn’t worth living in for all the heartache they put their tenants through, don’t live here unless you want to scammed
