We went for a peaceful place to relax and of course there was a summer camp field trip there at the same time. The kids were enjoying themselves so peaceful was out of the question. I'm not sure what I was expecting but I thought there would be more to offer with an entrance fee. We found a spot under the shade out of the way of the camp and stayed for a little while. We didn't get in the water. I was able to get some nice photos.
I was disappointed with our experience and won't be returning. The admission prices were very expensive—$15 per adult and $12 per child—which didn't feel worth it for what was offered. The changing area lacked privacy. It was a single-door room, and people could easily walk in while someone was changing. The portable toilets were dirty and unpleasant to use. I used to go to this with my family but now they are charging outrageous prices. I dont remember paying a single thing for all the times I've been here. And if its just for parking why are they charging per person. I liked this place because it was a free thing now it is basically a scam.
I used to go with my family for years, and now they’re charged $10 a person?? and just because people work throughout the week $15 on the weekend is ridiculous. why would anyone go there and spend $50 with there family JUST TO GET IN. Rather than going to a beautiful beach for $10 parking. The whole point was to have something multiple people in different nearby towns can enjoy and hangout with their families and friends without spending so much and it being close.
Great place to take the family and have a day of fun in the sun. We get a seasons' pass and it's worth every dollar.
