I made my appointment back in June 2025 to see Dr. El-Rif as a new patient. Unfortunately the first available appointment was for August 7, 2025. I received the attached message from the practice on Friday, July 18 notifying me my appointment has been cancelled with no explanation. I am extremely disappointed in the way this was handle and not notifying me earlier so I can start my search all over again trying to find the right doctor for my medical needs.
Dismissive. I am of perimenopausal age and when I brought up hormones she dismissed it by saying it is discussed too much in social media. I don’t scroll social media. I find it unhealthy for myself. This was my account from years of watching every month and noticing the patterns. She is the doctor and you will listen. That was my take. I left in tears and will never return or recommend this practice to anyone who would like to be respected as a thoughtful self aware person. First time seeing Dr. El Rif and she was beyond thoughtful and caring.
Miriam is an incredible doctor, she is very kind, always listens to any concerns I have, and truly cares for the wellbeing of her patients. Cannot recommend more!
