Delighted to find an elegant inn and "spa" that lives up to its name, with wonderful healthful food (yes, sinful desserts and fresh-baked macarons in the lobby), good yoga classes, a pretty spa with steam, sauna, lounge, and a large, grotto hot tub with bar service. Loaner bikes to explore "downtown" Skaneateles are also included in rates. Had terrific massages today too. Perfect gal pals getaway or wedding venue and families are here too. So, so glad we are here for a few nights to veg out. Will be back for sure.
Spa! It’s so sad to see a place that you love go downhill! I went to the spa at Mirbeau for a massage for my birthday with my sister. I had the first morning appointment! So so excited to start the day, and so very disappointed in my massage as the masseuse was so quick to take offense when I asked for adjustments in the pressure and certain areas of my body(even though she expressly told me too tell her about the pressure)! she never checked in to see if that was better.
