Overpriced Disappointment from Start to Finish My husband and I chose this resort to celebrate our anniversary, expecting a world-class experience. What we got was anything but. It started the moment we checked in. Staff handed us keys and two Miraval bags and sent us on our way. No welcome, no tour, no explanation of anything. DO NOT COME HERE. I dare say I have received better customer service from my local Courtyard Mariott which costs $75/night. This has been one of the worst hotel / resort experiences I have ever had in my life. The air conditioner in my room did not work. At 2am, I did not want Engineering to attempt a repair because I just wanted to sleep, so I simply asked for a replacement blanket for the night (and we could figure out the issue the next day). Disappointing Experience with Resort Credits and Poor Management Response I recently stayed at Miraval Arizona with my partner, expecting a relaxing and well-managed wellness getaway. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a significant issue with the resort credits and the unhelpful attitude of the staff. The resort credits are strictly non-transferable between guests — even for couples sharing a room.
