I don't answer calls from unknown numbers, but Googled this number which calls daily and leaves no message. Appears to belong to this collection agency. I have zero medical or other debts warranting harassment from a collection agency, yet they continue to call. They have not sent any sort of written notice about why they're trying to contact me either, just daily calls with no voicemail or any other such message. Pretty scammy if you ask me. Mira med probably gets a lot of hastey reviews because people owe them money and don’t want to pay what is owed but one thing is, is that Mira med representatives DO NOT need to talk to people like they own the people that owe them.
You should not have to pay money for health conditions out of your control.
This company uses unethical collections practices. We have some outstanding bills that were never sent to insurance, contacted the hospital in which they said they would take care of it and withdraw the accounts from MiraMed. MiraMed called me again and I explained the situation, yet they keep making harassing calls DESPITE being given notice that the amount of the debt is being disputed. I am still trying to figure out if this company is even legit. The experience I have had with them thus far and now the reviews I am reading really concern me. This company has called me every day for the last several weeks regarding a debt that I apparently owe from a hospital that I have received care from but had no knowledge that I had an outstanding balance.
