This place used to be one of the best coin shops in the area but after the old owner passed away, it's just been a slow decline into the state it is now. I haven't been there in years but the shop isn't open regularly, though they do still show up at the Long Beach Coin Show. They seem to deal more in bullion and jewelry these days. They also have almost no online presence except for (as far as I could find) a facebook page that pretty much only has about half a dozen or so posts from 2010. These guys are scam artists that take advantage of uninformed and elderly people. My mom sold them a bunch of gold jewelry and received what I though was a suspiciously low payment. I sent her back the next day with my vintage Omega watch. The guy offered her $125 for a watch that I have had appraised at $9500. Avoid these guys like the 405 at 5pm on a Friday. They send out glossy mailers offering to buy gold at temporary locations around the Southland. No real retail storefront that I can find. No website. No itemized recei... read more
