Do not use them. They are no longer in network for me (anthem blue cross) and was going to cost over $6500 out of pocket. So I decided to go to an in network provider. Asked them for the hearing test they just did and they refused. They were very rude about it as well. Guess they were mad I went somewhere else.
It's awful that elderly people are not given empathy and lead to feel pressured to make an instant purchase for hearing aids that cost $5,300. to over $7,000. on the spot. Selling these hearing aids like a car salesman is a pathetic living. Shame on you for attempting to take advantage of people that are losing one of their senses. You insist on keeping their old pair while sending them home with a new pair. Who knows what's being done with the old pair? These arrived yesterday for 2 different people at same house. Which one of us is getting ripped off?
Five stars for the local Brown Ave support. I paid $7,000 for hearing aids for my wife. They worked fantastic for six weeks and then stopped working. I reviewed the manual, but with no success to get them working. Finally made a follow up appointment and within ten minutes, the problem was found (clogged filters) and fixed. My beef…after spending lots of money, one would think the manual would have better helped solve the problem. My mom needed to get a new set of hearing aids REALLY bad. She just never could get used to the ones she got about 7 years ago but, she did nothing about it & by the time she thought about it, it was too late. It’s important that she gets something that she will wear this time. Well, Bert is the one to go to. He is patient & such a joy to deal with.
