We are senior citizens, Judy is 80 and Murray 84, we and have traveled extensively throughout the years. Our trip through Central Asia on the Golden Eagle train, that we booked through the Mir Corporation, was outstanding in every way. Central Asia is an incredible destination and going with MIR was fantastic from start to finish. The history of the region, its beautiful sites, the amazing guides and flawless itinerary made for a great trip. This was one of the best trips I’ve ever done and far exceeded my expectations!
Recently returned from a private trip to the Baltics arranged by MIR. All aspects of the trip (flights, hotels, tickets to events) went without a hitch. The drivers and guides that MIR selected were knowledgeable, and were flexible in adjusting the schedule to meet my needs. This is the 3rd trip that MIR arranged for me and all 3 were exceptional
Having studied in Japan and worked on a volunteer project in Korea fifty-eight (58) years ago, I was delighted when MIR decided to launch a Korea travel program. The itinerary, special speakers, and guides were outstanding. I highly recommend his program to those interested in seeing historical sites in Korea, but also in understanding how and why Korea's post-war redevelopment is truly a modern miracle. The country is not only extraordinarily beautiful, but the Koreans are warm, open and very welcoming.
Oh my gosh! My MIR trip to the’Stans in April 2025 was so far beyond my expectations, that I’m afraid anything else will fall short! The home visit meals, the horse and falcon demonstrations, the information given during the butt-in-the-bus time, my fellow travelers, the music and dance entertainment, and that headless goat carcass horseback team game (you have to see it to believe it) were all amazing.
