The food and services are great, but parking in Pasadena terrible and the place inside is small. There is a line most of the time and nowhere to sit, better as a take out place. The pastries and bagels are awesome, the drinks are hit and miss. It is expensive here, two items with a drink is $25. Have to pay for parking and not easy to find parking.
The food is so good. While in line I often ask people what their favorite item is. I thought I knew what my favorite was, but last time I tried a different bagel in their collection and that one is now my favorite. That mango cream cheese is so so so so good.
Got to finally visit Pasadena’s Miopane, a Taiwanese based bakery and coffee shop. A short line to enter but we got our food, all the wait means nothing. A big size croissants and bagels await you. We had Tiramisu croissant, Tomato pesto bagel, Black sesame cream cheese bagel and mango cream bagel. Each one is flavorful, and taste so good in your mouth.
Worth every penny. Weekend outgoing because we were so bored of LA and heard that Taiwanese famous pastry just opened in Pasadena, so here we come! We were so lucky that arrived at 9ish, just a bit before line formed at the outside. Seriously, please arrive before 9AM. Staffs were very friendly, nice and patient. She recommended a few pastries. Surprised there aren’t already thousands of reviews for this place, especially since there’s a steady line out the door. We loved what we tried and wish we were close enough to come back for more. We tried the everything bagel with smoked gooda, tiramisu croissant, garlic butter bagel (must LOVE garlic. Husband and I loved it but it was a little much for our kids).
