Waste of time and money. Practitioner declined to give appropriate malaria prophylaxis for travel, gave false information about CDC guidelines and did not even bother to check for themselves the country specific guidelines for travel (which are very easily accessible). Was quick and easy to get an appointment, which seemed helpful given time it takes to get appointments at real medical facilities, but based on this visit I am very skeptical of quality of care and would not recommend. Should have checked the ratings for this location. We were 15min late due to weather. I had done the pre-check-in online & even had my payment info done. The nurse told us we had to reschedule even though the appointment time is already set aside with our reservation. Nothing like seeing healthcare workers sit around instead of being willing to do a 10 minute health check.

I've had nothing but good experiences with the Minute Clinic checking out my children's health problems. Most recently, I brought in my young son due to what looked like a bad skin infection from bug bites. The nurse practitioner was very thorough in checking all vitals, answering questions, and explaining what to look for should his condition worsen. We gave my son the antibiotics she prescribed and the redness and swelling was gone in a day. She did a care call 3 days later to see how he was doing and we were so impressed ... read more
