This is Directed At Lowes for a product they have. Minute Key— we had 4 keys cut at Lowe’s and in trying them out, the First Key We Tried Stuck in the Lock— AND WOULD NOT COME OUT. We had to call a locksmith to have it removed at the cost of $175! 😳 Tho Lowes was “helpful” at the customer service desk, they Deflected ALL Responsibility to the Minute Key company…who accepted ZERO RESPONSIBILITY for their Defective Machine, but did say they would return the $12 cost of the keys. I have 3 good reasons NOT to purchase a key from MinuteKey. Reason #1: The key didn’t work. It wouldn’t even go in the lock. Reason #2: Their refund policy is very cumbersome and rigid. They allow 30 days for a refund. If you contact them on day 31 they won’t refund your money. Reason #3: You can get a key made at Ace Hardware or other places much cheaper. So BUYER BEWARE with MinuteKey.

I copied two key and get one for free that cost me $11. In three minutes. They are awesome.

Locked my key in my car and called them for assistance. They said that they could help and someone would call me back shortly. No one called so I called back and was told they could not help. Then the lady rudely hung up on me. I’d give zero stars if I could. Very disappointed.

I wanted a backup key. The Minute Key unit promised I would get an accurate usable key. I inserted $3 and my current key - the device “chose” a key blank that wasn’t even close to my key. There was no (apparent) opportunity to even compare the blank selected by the machine to my own key, and there was no option to cancel the key. $3 wasted, worthless “key turd” in return. The worst ever. door lock broke my wife called minute key they sent over a locksmith charged her 350 bucks to fix the lock. I tried the door 3 days later it broke again. I called not easy task and they sent over the same lock smith. He wanted to charge me another 250 to fix what he just did 3 days earlier. I kicked him out. Tried to call minute key but after 1 hour they said a supervisor would call me back. Never happened. I took the lock apart myself and re fixed what the lock smith fixed in about 15 minutes.
