I would have to say this company is 5 stars in my book; especially Malik the young man I worked with during this entire process. I was totally skeptical about getting my roof done because I have solar panels on my home. I was concerned about the warranty and I wasn't sure if they were going to reinstall them properly. I currently have solar panels, however the company I originally purchased them went out of business. I found myself in need of some help answering questions about the panels, so I started calling solar companies in my area. I must have left a message for 4 companies and Jacob at Mint Solar was the only person who called me back. We were researching the cost and ROI for solar energy for our home. We contacted Mint because we wanted to do business with a local reputable company. They came to our home to meet with us. After reviewing the kilowatt hours we use vs the cost through our co-op electric company, and we did not qualify for the tax incentive, the Mint rep spoke to us honestly. Ryan came out and gave me an honest proposal. He informed me that solar was not great option for me due to my roof structure. He did not try to push a sale that he did not would benefit me very much.

We were not sure if we wanted solar. We used the MINT website to fill out the survey for the solar. We did not get a bunch of calls asking us questions we didn't know. We got a text message asking when we would be available for a meeting. We set a time and date and met with Ryan. He went over all of the possible options we had for solar in our area he gave us 2 proposals for solar and showed us a full cost break down and a cost of ownership, he showed us diffrent solar panel options and gave us his best recommendations.
