Last night we surrendered our beloved ball python Lucy to the MHS. The two women who assisted us with the process need to be applauded. They were so kind, knowledgeable and understanding during the short process. I greatly appreciate the time we were given. I highly recommend MHS and their volunteers. Keep making a difference in the work you are doing!

This is one of the most incredible groups of people I have ever met. Once I got to know everyone it felt like family. Very welcoming and open to herpetologists and herpetoculturists of all ages and stages.

Please come on a first Friday and check MHS out! We are a group of people of all ages and walks of life that come together monthly to celebrate with and educate about all things reptile and amphibian (and even avian -- thank you, Chase, for the evening on falconry!) in a comfy, climate controlled hall at the U of M.

Fantastic place to meet like-minded people, from all walks of life, lifestyles and ages. Learn about herps, share what you know and love and spread the word. Adopt a new animal, when and if you have the knowledge and space to take care of it properly.

I became a member to volunteer at Renaissance Festival. I have learned more about reptiles than I had ever planned to. The education programs are great!
