These guys are great my wife and I hired a doula for our second child, I was very skeptical and didn't think there was any point but when we started meeting with her she taught us techniques to help and relieve stress and pain from my pregnant wife. When my wife went into labor our doula helped me support my wife and when I needed to go get food or rest I was able to take a break and our doula took over for me.
