Every team member at the birth center cares about you and your care. I delivered at the Minneapolis location in December and had an incredible experience. I have been to the St. Paul location for care during pregnancy and have seen many team members who work at both locations. I had transferred to the MBC later in my pregnancy looking for holistic care and a place to give birth where I could feel safe, comfortable, and supported. My experience with the team at MBC has been beyond my expectations. I'm looking forward to comin... read more

RUN AWAY FROM THIS CENTER. In their care nearly 2.5 years ago I developed severe sepsis. I told them I thought I had an infection of some kind the week of my due date and nobody ran any sort of tests, they dismissed me as being fine. They let me go for over 48 hours with my water broke and kept telling me it would be fine. During delivery I kept saying I wanted to go to the hospital and they kept telling me I was fine. Eventually my husband joined my team and we demanded to transfer to hospital. They did not tell me they tho... read more

Full disclosure, we ended up accidentally waiting too long during labor and gave birth at home with our doula. The -1 star is because we had issues with a couple of the midwife’s. First experience, kerry was really aggressive about genetic testing and using non-life affirming vocabulary to describe our baby when we were merely 17 weeks along. We made sure not to schedule with her again. Second, there were a couple of things that we explicitly said we were opting out of post birth that the midwife “took note of” during a pren... read more

I’m leaving a review of 2 stars instead of 1 because of my wonderful experience with the birth center dating back to 2021 and my 2 pregnancies/births in 2021 and 2023. My experience with this third pregnancy, however, is the total opposite. I’ve come to realize that the quality of care at the birth center has plummeted drastically. I so wanted to finish my prenatal care and delivery at the birth center this pregnancy but have decided to transfer care for baby and my safety. Last week, I had some severe body aches, chills and... read more

It pains me to write this review because I had really high hopes for my birth center experience. My prenatal care, which I started in the latter part of my first trimester, was good. I felt cared for by the various midwives I saw - however - they varied in quality and expertise. At my birth I had two midwife teams because I was there for so long. I labored at the center for almost two days and my water had been open for three days at that point. I later learned that it is not advisable to continue laboring if your water has ... read more
