Over the past 10+ years of dealing with heart related challenges, I have gotten second and third opinions for my treatment - one of these being Mayo Clinic. It always came back to my original diagnosis and treatment plan from Dr Sengupta. I basically wanted to avoid a surgical procedure. I didn’t. He did it. Great results, follow up, and ongoing monitoring. I have been very happy with the entire care team at the Heart Institute. I would rate them the best. Abbott Hospital is fantastic as well. I wouldn’t go any place else.
I feel like there is a protocol that must be followed and not too much time for just chatting. I felt a little discounted when talking about my concerns. The doctor said I shouldn’t read so much about my diagnosis.
Very thorough, professional team of people at this site. I left feeling confident about the next steps that I needed to take.
