Masae is amazing! Her cuts are perfect, she explains everything extremely well, and her salon space is so comfortable and relaxing! I highly recommend her services. I’ve loved every cut I’ve gotten from her, plus she’s great with color as well! I have now had my hair colored twice with highlights (two very different looks) and she did a phenomenal job with both! Do yourself a favor and book a service asap!

The Minima Hair experience with Masae is indulging, to say the least. The salon is private and tucked away from the hustle of the city. It is like getting your hair done in your own private living room, with one of the most talented stylists in NYC! Definitely a little NYC secret that you need to experience!!
I’ve tried so many different salons and have never been consistent with the same place BUT I have a feeling I’ll be coming back here !! I loved my haircut and experience. She has a beautiful view on the 9th floor, plants on the shelves, beverages for you over ice in a glass (with a coaster!), hot towels, davines products - the attention to detail is truly amazing.
