I brought my perfectly smooth-driving car to this dealership for a routine oil change and left without a drivable vehicle. What should have been a simple service turned into a nightmare due to extreme incompetence and poor communication. I dropped my car off at 11:30 AM and did not hear a single update until 4:59 PM from the service representative, Mario. Thank you George (Jorge) for helping me through a difficult situation when my battery died on my 2020 Countryman S and was due for it's yearly service at the same time. At said time unfortunately an unexpected Cracked and leaking Motor Mount was found in addition to the cars regular oil change and new battery. Our 2023 Mini Cooper S showed a “Vehicle Check / Oil Change due at 36,000 miles” alert. Basic minor stuff. I called Mini Universal to make an appointment, (last time I was there they charged me almost $600 for two rear brake pads). They literally quoted me an absurd $400 before tax — $200 for an oil change and another $200 for the “vehicle inspection,” which is basically plugging the car into a computer and walking around it.
