Dr. Ming Zhang is an exceptional doctor! He performed two surgeries on my mom—one for a hernia and the other for a gallbladder removal—and both were a complete success. I went to the ER at Baptist hospital ,I had to have my gallbladder removed ,Dr Zhang was the only Dr that could do it without me waiting for another Dr. I read his reviews and I did not like them at all. And I was reassured by Dr Martin that he is a good Dr. Well I had my gallbladder removed the next day I find out he cut my liver they said it was just pinched and I needed to get a another operation to put a stent in me .I now have a stent in my liver it's coming after 8 weeks of being in me . I had a simple hernia repair surgery in January 2023. The surgery had to be repeated 5 days later because Dr. Zhang placed a suture in a nerve and I could not walk. To this day, I live in excruciating pain. My quality of life has never been the same. I feel something else is terribly wrong and plan to have it evaluated soon. Please don’t use this surgeon. I just read many other reviews where others are stating they’re also “botched”. This is terrifying. I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I feel this one is necessary.
I just got a hernia repair from Dr Zhang and he did such an amazing job from the initial consultation to my follow up visits. He’s very thorough in explaining the process and very knowledgeable. When I had questions after my surgery he immediately called me to answer my concerns. Not only did him and his staff make me feel comfortable but they also did the same for my family.
