Last time I ordered sambar rice, there was hair in it. When I ordered dosa, it took so long even though it was on a random weekday. When I complain to the manager about it, they told me there were a lot of people, and they didn't really seem to care. The water was the only good thing there because it was from outside, everything else was so mid. When I wanted to take another extra water bottle, they said $2 extra.
Loved the food here! Worth a try.
Finally made it back to Minerva Tiffins last Thursday around lunch and it was just as good as I remembered from years of coming here. The butter chicken is still the best in the city as far as I'm concerned, rich without being heavy, and the naan comes out piping hot every single time. The owner always remembers regulars and chats for a minute while you wait, which makes the small dining room feel more like a neighborhood kitchen than a restaurant.
