Best buffet I've ever been to I have seen the comments regarding the service, but have never experienced any issues myself. The food is great and I have never seen items run out in the 10+ times I have been at the Fairfax, Herndon, or Chantilly locations. In my experience, a new bowl of food is being brought out when the current one still has a bit left in it.
For all the Muslims out there don't trust what they tell you about their meat being halal. IT"S NOT! I was told by an inside source, the restaurant gets their meat from the same place as American restaurants. Don't trust MINERVA!
Rude people. Owners attitude is quite horrible. Most Indian customers are not treated well and their credit cards are not accepted if they eat for less than $20. I went with few American friends, they took the cards without any hesitation..
very bad service The Minerva buffet is very good with a wide range of dishes. I did not like the service as the waiters wanted to take the dishes away before we were done with it. Most of the waiters were very impolite towards the guests. I had to tell the waiters almost 5 times not to take the dish away.
This is a great restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is good. A great place for a lunch buffet if you like Indian cuisine. Based on the crowd I see and the number of people from my work that eat there I think I can say this restaurant is great for Indians and non Indians.
25+ buffet items I go to this place on weekends, during the weekend lunch buffet. This place is packed, but they move people out pretty quickly. The dining area is pretty spacious. They have like 25+ buffet items, the salt and pepper are not counted, which is what some other places do. The service is somewhat bad, there are so many people the wait staff doesn't have time for everyone (need to get more staff). The food is very good. The cuisine is fantastic, the prices low, and the service?while not always gregarious?professional and quick. I've eaten at Minerva several times and have never been disappointed in any respect (except when the restaurant is closed due to special events, holidays, or operating at maximum capacity, be forewarned: the restaurant can be very popular!). They came highly recommended to me, and I highly recommend them to you.
I needed to pick up our food at 10:30 to have it in Tyson's ready and set up by 11:30 but they won't budge. they are the un-friendlist, un-customer service orientated people I have ever spoken to in my entire life. I would never want to eat their food again after what I've been through tonight with them. I called them at 5pm and the manager was not there.
