Chris n Ros of Hervey Bay struck mechanical trouble recently in the Mt Isa area and were referred to Miners Mate Mechanical also local RACQ guy named Laurence and we were more than happy with his help. I can't thank Lawrence and the team enough for going out of their way to help me when i was involved in a motorcycle accident just sth of Normanton last week. When no other recovery businesses in the region would help, Lawrence hopped in his truck and drove the 5hrs there, picked me and the bike up and returned back to Mt Isa in the early hours the next morning. Unbelievable service. On my up to W.A. , My water temps were increasing more than normal. Tested viscous fan. Felt like it was on the way out. Repco in Mt.Isa had one. Miners mate fitted that morning. On the way back noticed atf under the dual cab. Again called into Miners mate. Again,fitted me in. Appears front main seal in gearbox weaping. No top up needed. I will just keep an eye on oil loss. Great service. Regards Garry
