If you are considering going here, do it!! Dr. Carmichael is absolutely amazing. I have struggled for years trying to get someone to listen to me when advocating for my daughter. Since she was 2 years old! But because she “made eye contact” and “responded to her name” they turned me away. There’s a lot of Drs out there that aren’t educated enough on autism and what it looks like in girls/women. Stacy is a gem. Gaby Zerpa has made a huge difference in our son’s life. He is very comfortable with her and the play-based therapy she provides is helping him build resilience and coping skills, even after a short time. We are so happy we found Mind Works!
