A warning to all parents that are in the family courts. If Parental Alienation is a factor in your court case, I cannot stress the importance to stay well clear of this place, especially if they are nominated to be the Single Expert Witness. They have no training or qualifications to identify PA or have the ability to differentiate PA from parental estrangement. If you do end up with them as your SEW, go back to court and get it changed. 🙏🏻
Dr Phil Watts Director of Mindstate Psychology is the reason I won’t see my son for his 6th birthday tomorrow. If he’s recommended as a single expert witness - be very careful. He has longstanding relationships with certain family lawyers and will give them favorable reports in order to maintain a regular share of their business. Dr Phil Watts and his team are knowledgeable, honest and fundamentally decent. I fully recommend them and their practice.
It is disheartening to see that I am not the only neurodivergent that has issues with this organisation and its approach. Mine was related to a SEW report. It is likely that the SEW had a confirmation bias resulting in a significant quantity of inconsistencies throughout the report. The process meant that I was deprived rights to question any of the inconsistencies in the report before AND after the report was released.
