I called these people while in real distress and was given an appointment more than a week in the future for an initial meeting. They dropped a ton of paperwork on me which was very hard for me to complete in my condition. Amongst the paperwork was a request for my credit card information, which I did not provide, since it didn't seem appropriate for a first interview, since there was no guarantee that we would be a fit. I have been referring patients to Mindful Therapeutic Practices for several years. In my opinion it is one of the best therapy practices in the Richmond area. Ms. Brown has wealth of knowledge in all aspects of therapy and social work, keeps abreast of newest approaches, and accepts each client without judgment. Additionally she is adept at working with social service agencies, insurance companies, and legal entities, and is scrupulously honest and professional.

Mindful Therapeutic Practices provides fabulous care to their clients. I have been referring clients to MTP for years due to their experience in diversity and their wonderful understanding of psychiatric care from inpatient experience. Their clinicians have many years experience and I will continue to refer to all the outpatient clinicians.
