We hired the President of Minchey's to do some lawn repairs in May, 2017. Minchey's charged us $525.00 to do sod work to "level" out low spots on our lawn. They laid dead sod on top of healthy grass which killed it. We will be paying $600 to have it repaired by a qualified individual. After MUCH back and forth with the President of Minchey's, they agreed to adjust our bill by $400 to offset the cost of the repairs. Will will no longer be using Minchey's for ANY services. MOST OF WHAT MRS ********* REPORTED IS TRUE...IN REALITY, AFTER WE INSTALLED THE SOD, THE HOMEOWNER WAS OUT OF TOWN AND APPARENTLY THE SOD INSTALLED WAS NOT WATERED...THERE WAS AN IRRIGATION SYSTEM, BUT INDIVIDUALLY LAID PIECES OF SOD HAVE TO BE WATERED SEPERATELY TO SURVIVE THE FIRST WEEK...IT DID NOT GET THAT ATTENTION...I HAD E-MAILED HER AND HER HUSBAND REGARDING THE WATERING NEEDS, BUT GOT NO RESPONSE UNTIL SHE E-MAILED ABOUT THE DEAD SOD...I MADE HER AWARE OF WHAT WE WOULD DO AT NO CHARGE TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION, BUT ... read more
