Our son began seeing Miss Mina when he was 5 and struggling with fears related to weather, specifically thunderstorms and lightning, after a tornado went through our area. He also lacked confidence speaking up for himself. With kindergarten approaching and a new school on the horizon, we wanted to help him build confidence and feel more secure. Mina helped my child with transitions and coping with her fears. After a few sessions, the fears were no longer an issue. She also helped give me some tools and perspective. My child is also very shy, and Mina helped to make them comfortable. She also has bunnies as assistants, which my kids love!
Mina worked with our daughter as she was struggling with transitions to preschool. Our daughter quickly warmed up to Mina and loved visiting her office to play and see her bunny. Mina was great with addressing our concerns and giving us practical tools for resolution and supporting us through a tough period.
