I had a client that went Motto Mortgage for a 203K. This whole process took approx 25 plus days, and the client under went the Underwriting process, the under writer had put all kinds of conditions on the contractor. We perform due diligence on all loan files which includes re-verifying income/employment information provided. Loans that do not meet these requirements are declined. It is our goal to identify any issues as early in the process as possible, however regardless of when an issue is identified, if we feel it is jeopardizing the loan integrity, we cannot proceed with the transaction.
I listed a home, accepted a VA offer who used this lender. We had a simple 45 day closing. We were supposed to close 6 days ago & I am still waiting to hear back if were still moving forward or if it's even an active transaction on their side. Kenneth at the Lakewood, WA location was originally taking care of our file, apparently they closed down that location and did not tell anyone.
