(Would give -5 stars, If I could) My experience with Mimosa Homes has been absolutely terrible. I was given written confirmation via email from their sales consultant that my initial deposit would be fully refundable up until signing the build contract. Based on that assurance, I paid a $2,000 deposit. Later, I decided not to proceed with building and had not signed any contract or paperwork. We took handover of our home with Mimosa Homes in December 2025. At handover, multiple defects were identified including plumbing issues, cabinetry damage, poor painting finish, unresolved cleaning issues, and misaligned internal door locks. These issues were formally documented and followed up multiple times via email over several weeks. We have now been living in our new home (Saba 250) for 3 weeks and loving everything about it. We had a few delays but nothing to drastic. The end results have really been worth the wait. We feel our home has been built to quality standards and is exactly what we envisioned from the start. Overall, we had a great experience building with Mimosa and wouldn't hesitate to build with them again.

We had such a fantastic experience with our customer service consultant which made us decide to build with them, and had a relatively smooth build. The transition post hand over soured however Day 1 of moving in started with a leaking roof and that’s where the issues began, (we’ve had more since then). Had an appointment this morning at 9:30, they couldn't get the door open for about two hours. The door has some sort of digital lock which they tried to override remotely. A simple physical key would have been better. They didn't bother informing the successive appointments to not come.
