Mediocre This restaurant isn't too bad, but it isn't great other. I've been there several times, and the music is WAY too loud-every time! On a number of occasions I have asked to have a quiet booth (no such thing) or the music turned down. IF they bothered to honor that request, it always went back to full blast 5 minutes later. If you don't want to hear yourself think, let alone have a conversation with a companion, this is the place for you. Otherwise, don't go unless you want to leave with a headache.
Out of this world muffins Sure, Mimi's a chain and as most chains go, there's nothing extraordinary about their food line-up. But wait, their muffins are heavenly, so maybe, that's enough to make us want to go back again and again. And we have:)
Reliable Yeah, I know its a franchise, but you know what to expect. The menu will take a while to read, but you have a pretty wide selection and the food is above average. Pretty attentive wait staff. Good location, easy to find. Fun place!
We Love Mimi's We have enjoyed Mimi's Cafe in Austin. One of our favorite meals there was Thanksgiving 2007. It was great! We bring almost all of our out of town guests to Mimi's. The food and service are great. We especially like the carrot bread. We live in Round Rock and are eager for Mimi's in Round Rock to open. Do you have a date for their opening?

Good food in a family atmosphere Mimi's has something on the menu for every appetite. Sandwiches, soups, hearty dinner options, kid friendly fare - they have it all. The wait can get quite long for a table at dinner time, but lunch is not usually a problem Service can be a bit unpredictable - sometimes the server is quick and efficient and at other times we've wondered if perhaps they left for the day. Despite the unpredictable service, Mimi's is a restaurant we find ourselves returning to time and again.
Good food, good prices too Mim's is a great restaurant to hit up if you're looking for good American cuisine at a fair price. Be forewarned that the wait can get decently long on weekend nights. Call ahead to put your name on the list so you don't have to wait too long. Also, the service can sometimes be a little on the slow side, but it is well worth it for the food!
Mimi's Mimi's is a greata cafe, and they serve great breakfast, lunches, or dinners. This location is great. You are usually seated within decent time, and the service is prompt, but more importantly, polite. They have tons of parking - they are in the same lot as Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc. Be sure to have one of their amazing muffins!
