The food was food, service and vibe of the place was amazing. Recommend the garlic noodles and butter mochi
The good: The food and drinks were pretty good and it has a nice ambiance. The pancakes were great and were light and fluffy. The staff also gave us karaage on the house because of the wait. The bad: The loco moco was woefully dry and overcooked to the point that it was hard to cut. The main issue though was that the diner seemed understaffed, translating into long wait times. I’ve actually been quite let down on the lack of gluten free options available in Cambridge, I expected more from a “progressive city.” However Mimi’s was the exception! Clearly marked menu with lots of gf options. I got some edamame and gyu meshi. The flavors were phenomenal, it was reasonably priced and the staff were all very friendly. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for some quality “outside the box” gluten free food.
