This place is awesome. Food is fantastic. Service is great. And to it's name, it has a diner vibe. Highly recommend. Probably one of our favorite Chinese / Asian restaurants in the area. Great vegetarian options.

Mimi’s Chūka Diner is an absolute gem in Somerville! The menu's unique take on Chūka Ryōri (Japanese-style Chinese cuisine) is fantastic across the board. The chicken karaage is the absolute star of the show. It comes out ridiculously crispy on the outside, insanely juicy on the inside, and seasoned to absolute perfection. Pairing incredible food with a cozy vibe and super friendly service makes this place a top-tier spot. If you go, do not leave without ordering the karaage!
Came for brunch and the pancakes are absolutely to die for—light, fluffy, and perfect. This Japanese-Chinese diner tucked inside Aeronaut Brewing Co. has great vibes and a fun fusion menu . Highly recommend!
