Dr. George Mimari performed surgery on my mother two times. He informed me they were difficult surgeries because of my mother's health -- she had Parkinson's and other health issues. Both times, Dr. Mimari did an excellent job that prolonged mom's life by 10+ years. Mom went home to be with the Lord in 2012. I'm sorry it took me a while to write a comment. Dr. Mimari always treated my mom with dignity and compassion, and mom was very fond of him. God bless you and your son, Dr. Mimari.
I'm about 4 months post op from a small ventral hernia repair by Dr. Mimari. Overall my experience with Dr. Mimari was great! I was a little nervous at first because of the reviews. But unfortunately, it's always going to be the ones that had a bad experience post a review vs. someone who had a good experience. Which is why I'm posting one cause he and his team deserve it! Over 1.5 hours sitting and waiting for a 5 minute consult with the surgeon. Everyone is very friendly and nice, but waited 30 minutes past my scheduled time before I saw the nurse for about 5 minutes, then another 30 minutes before seeing the doctor, then another 30 minutes waiting to talk with the surgery scheduling specialist.
As for the Dr. Mimari, I had a great experience w the over all visits, procedure n recovery. But his receptionist Yvonne not so much I have called many time trying to get my leave paperwork done . And did what they ask of me on how to send it , so it can get filled out and done . But when I call it's just like o yea we have it but it's not done . I called once in the morning and once toward the end of the day just to see when I could get it back due to the fact I have a time limit to retrieve it back to my work. Not once did... read more
