RecommendedI made a large purchase of pressure treated boards from Milwaukie Lumber with the sole purpose of keeping my money local. My lumber was delivered today... I was a little surprised at the drop off technique. The lumber was just rolled off the back of the truck 5 feet from the ground. The construction company I work for uses Milwaukie for materials often. We have had the opportunity to work with them on charity projects as well. They have generously donated to causes, their staff is friendly, and they are well spoken-of in our industry. We appreciate them and their service.
After having my deck replaced, we had some major problems. One phone call to Milwaukie lumber and they were out the same day! Not only did they replace any bad boards, they worked with the company the screws were from to get them replaced. Josh told us this was not the quality they sold to the public and he made sure we had a top notch deck! It’s just beautiful and Josh was a joy to work with! I would recommend them to all!
their online site to price material sucks, why cant I just put in that I want to know how much for a 4x4 post cedar, but I cant find where to enter, and there back screen on the site over shadows there front screen, cant you guys see this is very poor and not working for the 1st timer, they have lost business because I went to Parr lumbers site. Milwaukie Lumber fix this.

In the last couple of months I've been buying supplies at Milwaukie Lumber in Vancouver and have been very pleased with the help I've received there. However, after spending over $700 on Trex decking and having to return one piece I'm a little annoyed about their return policy. The decking I ordered was evidently a "special order" and because of this I've been waiting since Nov. 4th for a refund on the single piece I returned.
