In contrast to other reviews, I received great service from the owner, Nick. He was quick to respond to my inquiry to eliminate minor lippage on a mosaic marble floor and provide me with an estimate for the work. The work was performed timely and according to the standard I requested. I would not hesitate to use Milwaukee Area Stone Professionals again for any natural stone refinishing.
DO NOT USE! Milwaukee Area Carpet Cleaning/Milwaukee Area Stone Professionals - Owner Nick Bokas. I recently contracted Nick to come out and remove and install new grout around my shower and glass block window. I am very disappointed with my interactions/experience with MACC and Nick the owner. He took my deposit and never showed up for the scheduled services. I have sent a letter to request a refund and have not heard a response to resolve the issue.
Nick was quick to respond and provided a fair estimate for a job several contractors refused to take on. We needed our stone shower re-grouted, re-sealed, and polished, with a damaged soap dish replaced. Additionally, we approved a repair for a chip in our kitchen countertop. Nick offered to clean our stairwell carpet for free as part of the services. I paid a 50% deposit to secure the dates. I’ve communicated with Nick(owner) @ Milwuakee Area Stone Professionals multiple times to get an estimate for my stone floor. We had set an appointment but he never showed up or called to cancel. Very unreliable and disappointing! I do not recommend.
If there was an option to give zero stars, we would have. Nick appears to know what he is talking about and gives assurance that the job will be done correctly and on time. Nick showed up late, and didn’t finish the job (restoring our granite countertops, which have some lightly faded spots). He clearly explained to my husband that one area of the kitchen was done but the others still needed to be worked on, sealed and polished.
