I had my regular check-up at Milton Surgery today with Irenea, who was incredibly professional and kind. The whole process was so smooth that it was over before I even realized it. I tend to feel a bit nervous, but Irenea’s friendly and reassuring manner made it the best experience I’ve had with this type of check-up compared to other GPs. The staff at Milton Surgery are also very kind—it’s genuinely a pleasant place to be a patient.
This is the first time I’ve been registered at a doctors surgery in Cambridge and felt I’ve been really heard by a doctor. I had an appointment with Dr Knight who Is very understanding and listened without judgement. The reception team have always been incredibly helpful and easy to talk to both in person and over the phone. The phlebotomists are also very relaxed and make you feel very comfortable when having blood tests. I would highly recommend this surgery as the whole team have been nothing short of incredible.
Caring as usual
I have been using the surgery since 2006 and it has always been good. I have almost always been able to get an appointment on the day I tried. The doctors have been great: Drs Hunt and Steward are very much missed and have well earned their retirements. When Dr Hunt retired I was concerned but Dr Edwards has been an excellent replacement. Thank you for being so kind to me when I was experiencing a really frightening drug reaction. I was terrified and my face was lopsided. You knew immediately what was wrong. Thanks reception and the doctor I saw I will be dropping off a card tomorrow.
