Dr Owens is the best!! He’s very knowledgeable and has up to date knowledge on the latest Bariatric information
I had gastric bypass with Dr Owens 30 1/2 years ago. Today, I actually weigh less than my lowest post op weight thanks to the good dietary and fitness habits taught by Dr Owens himself and re-enforced by the surgical procedure. I couldn't recommend a kinder person and more skilled surgeon than Dr Owens.
I had surgery done by dr Owens. He was an amazing dr to work with. He was always available to call or text. Answered all my questions pre and post op. The staff members were not always so pleasant. The hospital next door to his office is where my surgery was done at. Not all of their nurses were nice neither. My only advise to anyone is get up and walk around. It helps so much. No nurses advised me of that and I was in pain. As soon as I got up to Walk around I was doing amazing. I highly recommend dr Owens

14 1/2 years out of my gastric bypass performed by Dr. Owens in July of 2006 and I am still at 160 pounds. Was 315. Kept it off due to the education I received. Dr. Owens is beyond amazing. No complications. Got out of the hospital a day early. Gave his personal cell phone number to me. I called him from the grocery store with a question. He was there to answer it.
