Outstanding Service from Milton Hydro! I’m incredibly impressed with the service from Milton Hydro. Two weeks in advance, they let us know about a planned power outage to replace a transformer — scheduled from 11:00 PM on Friday, July 25 to 7:00 AM Saturday, July 26. Not only was the communication clear and timely, but the actual outage lasted only 1 hour and 20 minutes — from 11:13 PM to 12:33 AM! That kind of efficiency is rare. Today, June 26th, 2025, a transformer issue caused an interruption in our electrical service. Milton Hydro responded immediately and had restored our service within the hour. Very much appreciated the quick response to this issue. As always, effective and professional response by the techs sent out to correct the issue.
I called Milton Hydro power outage line as my power had been flickering in my home for a few days and today it became worse. Thought the issue could be due to the bad weather and tree limbs shorting lines. Vicky took my call and took the time to listen to my concern. She confirmed my contact info and address and told me would send the info to the on call crew so they could look into the issue. Thought this would take some time. Two + months and still haven’t received my first hydro bill! When you call, they won’t let you speak to the accounts receivable department. When you ask what your billing cycle, they say they don’t know.
On December 31st (New Year’s eve) we had issue with the electricity at our house. We contacted Milton Hydro and within the hour Gary and Nate were on site to troubleshoot. The transformer at the road needed to be changed. The task was completed within a couple of hours. We were extremely impressed with their level of communication and customer service.
