Waiting for more than 6 hours with no outcome. just waiting. They do not have enough Doctors in emergency, they have more security guard than doctors, even they have more staff in caffe and gift shop. Just wasting tax payers money, if they do not have doctors then ER shouldn’t be this big. Canadian healthcare is screwing up meaning of “EMERGENCY “ .

I was admitted d/t an emergency which I almost shrugged off. The staff, from the RN's, MD's, pharmacists and the clerks, I was impressed. I work in healthcare myself - they did an excellent job. Thank you for your hard work.

This is the second time this has happened, ER wait times are DISGRACEFUL. I took my sister there at 10 P.M for an allergic reaction and we eventually saw a doctor at 4 AM!!!! This is unacceptable for a hospital, absolutely unbelievable Last night my senior grandmother was taken the hospital for excruciating pain at 8 PM. NO DOCTOR SAW HER UNTIL 7 AM SHE JUST LEFT THE HOSPITAL AND CAME BACK HOME!!!! THIS IS DISGUSTING, IN WHAT WORLD IS 11 HOURS OF WAITING AT AN EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT ACCEPTABLE?

Update: I need to update this matter many months after as more is being revealed since this happened. I made an official complaint to Patient Relations after this accident as I found out more about the damage this fall had caused to my mother. I have pictures of all the bruises and also found out a lump on her head as well. This is a place where the elderly are ignored rather than cared for — where simply asking about the signs of end-of-life leads to decisions being made without compassion. The doctors seemed eager to remove the IV and quickly declared that my loved one was entering the palliative stage. Looking back, I regret even asking questions.
