A computer board went bad on our excavator so they came out n put a new one in and they said they want the old board for the core so no big deal until they decided the core is shot on the old board n wanted to charge us a bunch of money for it being bad, so we called them up n told them we ain’t paying that fee because that’s why we got them out to fix it cuz it was bad , after a lil go around on the phone with the guy he’s like you are the worst customer I ever had n hung up ,, Not a real good way to treat customers imo ,, ... read more
I have purchased at least 50 new Cat machines from Milton Cat over the last 20 years. We have a D3K2 dozer that is under warranty and has an emission issue. We were told it would cost about $1,100 for a technician to come to our shop to look at the WARRANTY ISSUE. That cost is calculated at $222 per hour for the technician plus $4.50/mile travel costs (that's close to $500/hr while driving - who makes that kind of money?). Yikes, pure robbery!
