Staff is friendly, but I’m honestly thinking about switching to another orthodontist. I knew that they were only open Monday thru Wednesday, but I didn’t believe at the time that it would be very inconvenient. I have had to wait a week sometimes for an appointment for simply needing a bracket replaced. There are also some appointments they only do in the morning. I’m an adult and refuse to miss work for an hour orthodontist appointment. They are not flexible to meet the needs of the patient.
We are extremely happy and satisfied with Milpitas Orthodontics. Dr. Yeu and her whole team have been very kind, flexible, patient, and very accomodating. We were instantly comfortable on day 1 and every step of the way as they explained the peocedure, answered our questions and concerns, and gave us a complete perspective. Their pricing is also reasonable. My son who is missing a tooth needed the retainer to hold the space and the assistant doctor made one manually within 24 hrs. Service is pretty normal and common. You will get the same from many Orthodontics around here. They are under staffed, work only 4 days a week. So painful to get appointments and they are strict with the missing appointment penalties. Only school days and mornings- appointments. So be cautious and plan accordingly, once you commit, you are stuck for years with them. Front desk service is little rough.
They are open 3 days a week and it is impossible to reach them on any open days. They don’t answer their phones to schedule appointment/consult on an issue which is kind of very time consuming and annoying. Keep this in mind if you are planning a long term treatment plan with them.
Currently getting treated here, the staff is patient and kind. My case is pretty complicated, and mishaps do happen, but they don’t hesitate to reboot and problem solve. The staff is very kind and they care about the comfort of the patient. Had to return twice in a day to get my teeth fixed, they were nothing but warm. The orthodontists here are talented. Braces are not a fun experience, but they’re making it tolerable.
