By Midwestern bakery standards it's good. Decent selection of pastries, breads, and limited sandwich menu. No frills coffee. The classic chocolate croissant test came up wanting with the consistency of a marshmallow.
Unique Old World Style Bakery Located in the Round A Bout by Finely Hospital. Some of the most delicious Sourdough, and they cut it there for you. The baked goods like Morning Buns, Chocolate Croissants, Almond Croissants, Bear Claws and Danishes are all to die for delicious. Hands down my favorite bakery in Dubuque area.
The ham and cheese croissant has the perfect cheese to compliment the ham, the croissant is perfectly flaky and moist, I've never had one that flakes but doesn't crumble everywhere. This one was practically mess-free but still flaky; witchcraft!! The blueberry breakfast bats were the perfect texture and the lemon flavor was an excellent surprise, perfect level of flavor. This is one of the most “Fab”ulous places in Dubuque! It’s a great bakery with coffee and food. Wonderful people and atmosphere. Six ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s!
