Beverly, thank you sooooo much for helping me experience apple picking today! We had a blast! Lots more apples than we thought, cider slush was AWESOME! Apple donuts were incredible. Carmel apples too! It was worth the 3 1/2 hour drive and we will appreciate all the help again!

What a complete ripoff. Charged everyone (including a 3 yr old) for a 60 second "hayride" to the pick your own site and nothing but rotten apples in the trees and on the ground. Seriously not an edible apple to be found, and they were still charging people to go out there when we left!
The staff where great. We sat at the tables watching and listening to the music and families. What was nor up to snuff were the orchards. Poor apple picking. There were almost better apples on the ground. I would have felt better if after paying the entrance fee, the apples were priced a little closer to their poor quality.
The apple cider slushes & apple cider donuts are AMAZING!!! It was a lot to get into the Apple Festival ($8 per person) and you have to pay for apples too ($3.50 per pound) but we had a blast!!
Yesterday was our 1st ever visit! I have to say, we were very impressed!! Our children are older, 10, 13, and 18 but they all enjoyed themselves! As a matter of fact, they are begging for tether ball and tire swings at home!! Every employee was so kind and always looking to help if we had questions. The apple cider, donuts, sauces, and apples were all delicious!! Thank you for a wonderful family day!
Delicious cider, awesome staff, and beautiful property! Well worth the drive from Raleigh!
