We flew some clients to White Plains so they could shop in New York. We called ahead and told them the plane would be staying for 3 nights and we would be departing at noon on the last day. I arrived at the FBO at 8:30 am to be safe because they had a little snow through the night into the morning. I arrived and spoke to the lady at the front desk. An incredible experience. This is easily the most beautiful FBO I’ll ever visit. There’s plenty of seating and even free overnight accommodations for crew. The crew cars are brand-new Mercedes E-Class models with a generous two-hour limit. In the morning, they even had fresh-baked cookies waiting. The fees are surprisingly reasonable—not cheap, but far better than you’d expect for one of the most upscale airports in the country.

It’s a mess every time we come here. As flight crew, we’ve never had a smooth experience. Front desk is argumentative, confused, disorganized. Constantly repeating information with them, and still there is miscommunication. Last time we were here they held up our passengers inside the FBO trying to make them pay for fuel (we had already closed out the invoice). This time we were overcharged 100 gallons of fuel because despite repeating our tail number and aircraft type multiple times we were still told the incorrect minimum ... read more
