I booked an informational call that I was excited for. I was never called at the scheduled time and was left waiting with no explanation. Then, they sent me a survey asking how the call went. If I can’t trust them to call me at a scheduled time, how can I trust them to do anything? First impressions matter and in my experience, is evidence of how a clinic is run.
Vanessa was an absolute rockstar delivering our baby. Her energy was so needed in the delivery room and made us more confident after a very long, difficult labor. She supported my decision for a late stage epidural administration (at 10 cm!) and coached me through pushing even in a physically desensitized state, allowing me to have a successful vaginal delivery. Both my spouse and I are so grateful she was present to help coax our little one into the world.
We transferred care to Millie halfway through our pregnancy and I am so grateful we did. The midwife-led model was much more aligned with my perspectives about birth and my preferences for delivering my baby. I felt empowered, supported, and informed throughout the process. I just wish we had more time getting to know the providers, as we transferred midway. But the Millie guide (doula) meetings really helped with this.
