Some of these reviews in last few months really surprise me. My dad was in there a little over a year and got really good care. I came if not everyday, every other day to see him. Yes we had a few issues every once in awhile, but nothing major. We had a few nurses & one that took care of him like her own family member. Had 2 Male CNAs that were fantastic with him. I had to have my mother admitted for therapy here. The staff was 8/10. The facility was 7/10. Call light response time easy 25 minutes or more, while we visited her. It continuously smelled like urine. The kitchen manager let me know they do not count grams of carbs for diabetic patients for meals. The discharge meeting seemed good, however follow thru with contacts (per request) for different places in the community were never given to me or my mother. This place is one of the worst places I have ever been to. My mother in law was there for rehab and on first day had to be moved to hospital because their machines didn't work for what she needed. Then expected us to find a way to transport her back when they had the issue fixed. Food was sub par. Employees didn't communicate on when she was to be released or give us a date until last second. Dr at nursing home wasn't available to write orders so we had to stay another week until orders were given which they knew wasn't cove... read more
