Booked a fishing charter with captain Judd and Stonie. The weather was less than desirable for fishing, let alone leaving the bay. Judd is a skilled captain and even better at finding kings. 8 guys on a boat was a little tight, but it works if you pay attention. It took a minute but once we were on tge fish, everyone took turns reeling in silvers and kings. My only disappointment is how the fish got divided at the end. We had an awesome charter fishing experience with Captain Jake & Owen! These guys worked hard to put us on fish. We booked the Premium Fishing Package.. which was well worth it. Having our fish transported to J-Dock for processing, vacuum sealed, frozen & packed for shipping made the experience hassle-free. We also appreciated the breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Fantastic breakfast. Four of us enjoyed a great breakfast and coffee drinks. Fast service even though they were busy. Nice covered patio with a view of the bay.
Miller's Landing is my favorite campground in Seward. They have nice facilities and the staff is kind and helpful. They also have a fantastic fishing charter that leaves right from the campground. I have been out with them several times and they always find the fish!
We stayed in the ocean Front duplex downstairs and it was remarkable! The view is priceless and the unit was very comfortable, well equipped, and clean. We actually scheduled our trip around the availability of this property, and it did not disappoint. We should have stayed an extra day to just hang around the property and enjoy the view and walk the beach more (you are mere feet from it).
